Though the ceremony was delayed three months due to Hurricane Matthew closing down the entire university in October, the Class of 2018 was formally committed to the vocation of Nursing on Friday, January 20, 2017! The weather was perfect, the students looked like the nurses they are becoming, and friends and family gathered to offer prayers and best wishes as these students committed themselves to Nursing.

Julie Quattlebaum, RN, a member of the PBA School of Nursing Advisory Board and OB Patient Navigator at St. Mary’s Hospital, addressed and challenged the future nurses. Roseanne Jean Pierre, a Senior nursing student at PBA, also challenged and encouraged her fellow students as they continue on their journey to becoming BSN prepared nurses.
